Jewish Synagogue in Bobowa (south from Tarnów).

The Synagogue has been built in 1756. In 1889 the building burnt down during the conflagration that struck the town. The renovation which gave the synagogue present look started just after the fire. Nonetheless during the WWII the temple's interior was totally devastated by the Nazis and destined for horse stable. After the war synagogue was abandoned for few years and slowly fell to ruin. In 1955 it was renovated again, but it's interior was also adapted for a textile workshop for local school. Then - among other things - the Bimah and stairs of Torah Ark was removed, but the most precious architectonic details, like polychrome and portal where preserved.
In 1993 textile workshop was expelled from the synagogue and overhaul started, but works progressed very slowly and after death of Zygmunt Nissenbaum (the president of Nissenbaum Family Foundation that took over the synagogue's renovations) were held up.
The renovation was finished thanks to Rabbi Ascher Scharf from New York.
On July 1st, 2003 the synagogue was open in presence of almost 100 Bobow Hasidics from USA, London and Israel.
Nowadays the synagogue is an active place of worship.

. Tylko to zbieganie się (paralaksa?) podkreślane przez niebieską kolumnę. Ja bym ją wyciął ...

no, a ja właśnie celowo tak zostawiłam. gdybym wyprostowała, straciłabym nie tylko tą kolumnę (która tworzy mi ramę kompozycji, co właśnie pożądam) ale również znaczny fragment ornamentów po prawej stronie.
bywają kompozycje, na których zbieganie się jest właśnie korzystne. "prostość" nie musi być regułą, wszystko zależy od wizji i od punktu widzenia, a w tym przypadku widzenie było szerokokątne (18 mm). żałuję nawet, że nie mam bardziej szerokokątnego obiektywu, by w przypadku wysokich obiektów osiągać nawet większe zniekształcenie perspektywy.

cudowny hdr, piękne światło, genialne kolory... a miejsce wygląda na fantastyczne...

Miejsce z historią, bardzo podniosła atmosfera tam panuje. Żeby dostać klucz trzeba iść do pobliskiego zakładu fryzjerskiego, a nieraz i poczekać aż właściciel skończy strzyc klienta
